Formal bands
For a touch of class and formality to your wedding, Fantasia Music has an array of professional musicians, each a master of their chosen instrument. Jazz Bands
Jazz bands are a popular choice for weddings, particularly for the drinks and reception where a trio or quartet would be perfect. Jazz bands to play jazz standards and swing such as Jazz Xtra or The Virginia Jazz Trio are a smooth solution. Then there is the more traditional ‘Dixieland’ jazz favoured for outdoor receptions where Silk Street Jazz or The Southern Allstars would be perfect.
Classic Covers
If you’re looking for a band to deliver rock, pop and disco classics, you’re not short of options with our classic covers bands. Brother to Brother or Jamtastic can cater for any occasion and most budgets, and The 101’s have a repertoire of over 350 songs including many classic hits. For a great rocking party band there is no better band than The Bright Sparks and for a different take on the classics theme, you could try our tribute bands that include the likes of The Beatles imitators the Silver Beatles.
Ceildh Bands
Ceildh Bands (also referred to as Barn Dance Bands) offer a great alternative to the classic wedding band. A Ceilidh is a different type of experience and is something that can involve all ages and be fun! A good wedding Ceilidh will have a ‘caller’ who will instruct and guide everyone through each dance in easy steps, the band then start up and everyone can join in. We have some excellent, experienced Ceilidh Bands like Dorset based The Dancing Ledge, Cottage Industry and Murphy’s Lore. Smooth and Soulful
Whether you’re looking to book specialists in 60s, 70s, 80s, soul or disco, Fantasia Music offers plenty of options. Guaranteed performances featuring soulful vocals and a brilliant horn section are the forte of top London band Backbeat Village. Motown bands are also a huge favourite, with bands such as Souled Out and the Blunter Brothers available to party into the night.
