Two decades is a long time, and within this period we have provided music for just about every occasion with music from Bach to Bangra through Classical, Jazz, Swing, Latin, Caribbean, Ceilidh, Pop and discotheques.
Weddings at Chewton Glen
Chewton Glen is top of the wish list for couples seeking the highest quality of service and the very best of just about everything on their special day. Georgia Blacknell is the wedding co-ordinator and she expertly guides those looking to marry at the hotel through the wedding packages to accommodate small gatherings through to large, bespoke weddings where your every dream is catered for.
Some of the wedding packages include live music for the ceremony & drinks reception, and if you have booked one of these then Georgia will arrange for a representative from Fantasia Music to either meet with you at the hotel or contact you to discuss your requirements. The most popular options are String Trio or String Quartet, Harp or Guitar, however we will do our utmost to ensure you get the perfect music you want for your wedding.
Wedding Ceremonies at Chewton Glen
Wedding ceremonies are usually carried out in The Morning Room, a beautiful room off the main lobby to the hotel. You can also opt to have the ceremony in other parts of the hotel notably The Garden Room, a beautiful long room overlooking the grounds or The Herb Garden which is popular for Summer weddings held outside.
Many couples who book the wedding package with music like to have the same thing for ceremony and drinks, so a string quartet can for instance play Classical music for the ceremony and then relocate to play for drinks but play a mix of styles like popular classics, film/TV themes or arrangements of pop songs etc.
Others prefer the classic strings just for the ceremony but then add another element for the drinks such as a Jazz Trio, Caribbean Steel Band, Latin trio or Guitar Duo. Whatever your requirements we can help you.
Evening wedding party
If your wedding is booked for exclusive use then you can have your evening wedding entertainment in any number of rooms throughout the hotel, however for most couples this will be in the beautiful Lake Suite.
The most popular thing we provide for wedding parties is a live band and as Fantasia Music has a large roster of trusted, experienced, professional wedding bands there are lots to choose from to suit your preference in music and your budget.
Live pop bands are all very well however some couples prefer a different style of music, so we often have Jazz & Swing Bands playing at the hotel as well as Latin Bands, Ceilidh Bands and of course hi spec discotheques.
It is important to get the music right and we will spend some time speaking with you about your preferences to ensure we give you exactly what you want and to ensure everything goes perfectly on the night.
