Party Bands Dorset

Our Dorset party bands vary in cost due to experience, size, equipment, popularity etc. We only deal with professional bands and an idea of starting price would be £1300 for a 4pc. Some cost far more than this however our web site gives a base price for bands as an indicator which should prove helpful. If you wish to hire a band for your Dorset wedding which is based outside of the area then costs can be much greater.

Most of our party bands based in Dorset will travel further afield. Many prefer to just travel to surrounding areas such as Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Wiltshire, Somerset etc. however some will travel much further with others prepared to play throughout the UK and abroad.

There are a number of ways to book. We will then take details such as your date, venue, timings etc. then get back with the availability of your preferred band and the precise cost. We then issue a contract and request a small deposit payment which ensures all is secure for your booking.

All bands are have differing playlists or repertoire and this represents the songs which they are prepared to play. You will be able to choose some specific songs and these will be worked into the band's sets. If you request specific songs which are not within their repertoire then some bands have a policy of offering one free arrangement however others might make a charge and some might only perform from their playlist.

Most bands in Dorset play 2 hours of live music within a 3 hour period so usually 2x1hour sets or 3x40 minute sets. Some play for longer by arrangement at additional cost.

Our Dorset party bands are very popular  so we advise to book as soon as your date and venue are set. Saturdays in the Summer are in high demand and bands can be booked up one year in advance so early booking is advised here. Other days/times of year which are not so popular will be easier to book and these can sometimes cost less.

Most of our Dorset party bands play a wide mix of music from the 60s to recent chart hits and a band with this repertoire will be able to please most tastes. Others are more specific playing 60s music or Motown, Soul, Contemporary Pop or Rock.
